One of the funniest and most true statements I have read recently is:
" Imma just get gas in the morning" is one of the worst decisions you can make as an adult.
We make and break promises each and every day. Promises to others... promises to ourselves. We put off doing things as if we have all of the time in the world.
No, I don't expect any of us to do EVERYTHING we are supposed or want to do.
Heck we may not even do some of the things we NEED to do, but I encourage you to rethink how life is viewed.
It is not just that nothing is promised, even though that is not exactly true.
The end is promised, but our time on this road is not.
Our purpose is to make the most out of every single moment we are gifted on this "Road" of our journey.
Gifted.
Even the worse days are a gift and here is why. The simple fact that we even have those moments is an opportunity to respond better and to do better.
Those "bad" or "rough" moments are only temporary and yet they can also be a lesson for you to carry forward.
Here is the thing..... if you refuse to take a hold of those moments and recognized that there can be beauty even in the storm, then you have wasted a chance to dance in the rain.
There is only a tomorrow.... when its today.
